A Place in the Sun

Acrylic on Canvas ; Size: 32" x 40"

Again, this was taken during one of our summer trips in the beautiful island of Palawan. He's a worker at the resort, carting sacks of cement to and from the stock shed. It must be a huge bonus to view such landscape while working, not even CEOs have this kind of advantage, methinks.

Hi Camille,
Did you ever try to paint with oil paints? If not, I would highly recommend. Painting with acrylic is hard labor.
Best Regards, Miro

Hi Miro! I used to paint using oil when I was young, but it further weakened my already frail lungs, inhaling all those paint thinners. You're right though, painting with acrylic is a pain especially with blending colors. I might switch back to oil in the future.. :)

I love your paintings by the way.

Camille

Wow, you're very talented. I wouldn't even know how to start painting something like that.
